Three volumes with distinct logics that coexist without forcing their unity. The white volume of the upper level, strictly horizontal, runs the full length of the house with a continuous window featuring wooden frames that frame the landscape. Below it, the stone wall: solid, textured, anchored to the ground as if it had always been there. The floor plan is organized in an L-shape, articulated by a cylindrical box containing a spiral staircase that connects the two levels. Above the hallway, a circular skylight creates a play of light and shadow throughout the day that changes with the hours—an intentional gesture that transforms the circulation into an experience. Toward the west, the house opens completely. A second living area is wrapped in a glass box that incorporates the garden into the interior. The curved concrete slab that cantilevers over the wooden terrace completes the composition in the only break of geometry: the gesture that opens the house to the outdoors.
