Casa Calafquén combines the robustness of concrete with the warmth of wood to create an elegant refuge in the midst of nature. Its structure, a longitudinal concrete block, integrates naturally among the native trees of the surrounding environment. In the interior, the contrast between both materials defines a unique atmosphere: the most intimate spaces are sheltered within a wooden block situated at the heart of the house. A fireplace inserted in a concrete volume becomes the iconic element of the living area, complemented by a custom-designed wine cellar that extends from floor to ceiling throughout the space.
