Casa Cerro La Pava

The design approach is straightforward: the volume is situated on the hillside through a single platform that resolves the topography and is organized on a single level. Toward the entrance, the façade is hermetic—board-formed concrete and a translucent lattice that filters light without exposing the interior. Toward the hillside and views, the building opens completely: floor-to-ceiling glazing, black steel frames, and a horizon of native vegetation that frames everything. The pool detaches from the volume and integrates into the exterior platform as an autonomous element. The circular concrete fireplace—with its bench wrapping around it carved into the terrain—anchors outdoor living to the hillside itself.
